Antiker naturfarbener Nomaden- Teppich vom Stamme der "Gashgai" mit traditionell kraftvollen Farben und unregelmäßig gespiegelten geometrischen Mustern aus der Zeit Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts. Ob der nicht kongruenten, etwas unausgereift wirkenden Ausführung, werden solche Stücke auch als "naiv" bezeichnet. Dabei ist die Anwendung eine gewollte Technik. Sie führt beim Betrachter zu einer kraftvollen lebendigen "Spannung" in der Wahrnehmung der kontrstreichen Komposition - erst das Gesammtbild zeigt die Ausgewogenheit.
